Clay Pot Roasted Meat with Glass Noodles (Cantonese)
250g roasted meat (Shao Rou), 50g glass noodles, 200g Chinese cabbage, 2 pcs star anise
2 cups stock, 2 tsp chicken stock granule, dash of salt and pepper, 1 tsp sesame oil
- Cut roasted meat into pieces; soak glass noodle and then cut into 2 blocks; wash Chinese cabbage and cut into 2 blocks.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in wok, stir-fry Chinese cabbage until soften, and then plce in clay pot and top with glass noodle and star anise.
- Stir-fry roasted meat with some soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar, and then shift to clay pot, follow with seasoning and bring to boil. Then turn to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
